Flow & Low
This class is a combination of Vinyasa flow, Yin & Restorative yoga. The class will begin with a short centering and focus of the breath, easing into an invigorating flow. Then we'll take our practice low. On the mat the the class will focus on seated, supine, and prone poses; using a variety of restorative, supported and yin postures.
"Vinyasa" translates to "flowing with breath." We will practice connecting breath and movement together to help create a steady rhythm throughout the class. This class will be accessible to many levels of students with modifications given to both increase and decrease the challenge, all while maintaining a steady flow of breath and building strength, stamina, and increasing flexibility and mobility through movement.

Rise & Shine Vinyasa Yoga
Prepare to face the day with a invigorating flow using traditional Surya Namaskar A and B connecting thoughtful sequencing of familiar postures with a emphases on alignment. Start your day with a flow that will encourage you to rise and shine through your day.
Restorative Yoga is a deeply restful, still, quiet style of yoga that uses props to support the body, thus relieving the muscles and bones of all work so that
poses can be comfortably held for extended periods of time. When supported by the various props, (blankets, bolsters, blocks, pillows), we can completely let go, sink down and experience all the benefits of being still. This type of practice naturally activates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest) which is responsible for restoring balance to our bodies. It helps with lowering your heart rate and blood pressure, tone internal organs, stimulate the immune & endocrine systems and relieve stress and anxiety. Join us for this intensely relaxing and nurturing class to rejuvenate your body, mind & soul, you will be glad you did!
Yoga as Therapy - Phoenix Rising Yoga and Meditation
The guiding principle of the Phoenix Rising Method is engaging yoga as a transformative experience to create a different state of Being while recognizing that this change must be done through the body–it cannot be done through cognitive processing. There are six phases to the Phoenix Rising Yoga and Meditation Class, with transitions in between. Each phase moves progressively deeper, beginning with a focus on the physical body and progressing toward inward contemplation. The process is anchored by embracing an edge and breathing, to gradually shift from mental activity to a more direct, present-centered experience in the body, and focusing on the wisdom that arises. In the final phase of the PRYT process, we bring back cognitive awareness to help us integrate what stood out in the practice and apply it to life off the mat. The class will conclude with a short theme-based dharma talk and guidance to apply the theme in the following week. You will learn how to listen to your body to bring more wisdom, clarity, tranquility, and contentment to your life.
